As a woman, I expected a certain level of mutual respect from another woman in this industry. Instead, an associate named Kat made me feel like I didn’t belong in an auto parts store simply because of my gender. She was dismissive and unhelpful, cutting me off before I could even finish my sentence with a sharp, 'We don’t do that; we can’t be held liable.' The irony is that I wasn't asking her to perform a service or touch my vehicle. I simply wanted to confirm if I had correctly located my transmission fluid dipstick so I could check it myself. Her attitude made me feel like an unwelcome interruption to her day. Between her disheveled appearance and unprofessional, untucked uniform, she seemed completely overwhelmed or perhaps just unqualified. It felt as though she turned me away because she didn't actually know the answer herself. It’s disappointing to lose a long-term customer over such a basic lack of professional courtesy

I had no idea my old battery had severe corrosion on the positive terminal (due to a poorly installed battery from previous person) when he checked it out which hence my car was throwing weird false codes on my dash of my beloved 2.0T Accord. (I was already stressed and worried due to financial reasons) thinking something far worse was wrong electrically but Antonio gave me peace of mind going out of his way explaining, testing and looking up if I was still covered (which thank the good Lord I was), tightening the new battery’s terminals AND tightening and securing the mount. He really made me feel like a personal family mechanic. Workers like him are why people return. Thank you Antonio.
