We thought that we had a small repair, but the technician told me that the crash was so big and we need to replace the whole windshield glass. Even though he came out for nothing because I needed to place a different order, he was still very nice on showing me what I need to do, whether it makes sense to go through the insurance or pay out of pocket. He even reminds me to check the Safelite website to promotions and discounts. Thank you Safelite for helpful employees who know how to show courtesy to customers! Everything about Safelite is a 10+ when it comes to Customer service and replace in the Windshield plus calibrating the safety features.
I would give it a -0 as for the waiting room and uncomfortable chairs. Three days later in my back still hurts. I didn’t expect a five star waiting room serving cocktails. But I didn’t expect such a miserable experience waiting three hours for my car to get fixed.
Got a quote online instantly after filling out my car's information. The price is very competitive. Scheduling online was quite easy as well. Safelife has option to have the tech to come out to your home but since I need the windshield replacment done quickly, I decided to drop off the car in the earliest available morning at their local shop and picked the car up in the afternoon of the same day without any hassle. The new Fuyao windshield looks and fits perfectly - very comparable to the previous OEM.

SafeLite didn’t keep our original appointment and I was forced to reschedule. I rescheduled for another day and I had to call Safelite at 1014 am for what was supposed to be an appointment between 7 am and 11 am. I had not heard from anyone by 1014 am. I was on the phone for 22 minutes while the representative supposedly tried to contact the person assigned to my appointment to no avails, and called “the shop” to no avail. No one would answer. I think I was finally notified close to or at 11 that he was on his way. The service person started around 1145. I was asked, via text, to pay prior to the job being done. When my husband got home, he took a look at the window and pointed out the messy job that was done. It was nothing Ike the first time the window had to be replaced a few hours ago. Yesterday, a sensor fell off the window because it must not have been attached properly. All in all, we are not happy about the experience we have had.
The technician from Safelite who fixed our windshield was amazing! The workmanship was great, but Zeyad’s knowledge, kindness and professionalism far exceeded expected customer service. We have used Safelite in the past and will continue to if needed in the future because of quality product and people represented by this company!
