The management must be amazing because this rental location shines. Yeah, there might be a busy morning, but they greet everyone and advise them of wait times. Everyone has been so kind and professional. I have never had an issue having a car ready when I prepare and make a reservation. Hats off to the new manager in training! A great team making my temporary car-less situation much much easier. I have to add, Enterpirse is also the best for business rentals. Smooth sailing for the customer. Thank you Vista Enterprise.
I returned a rental car at the Enterprise location in Vista, San Diego, and accidentally left items in the trunk. The total value of the items is about $1,000.
When I called to ask about it, they told me they had my belongings. They even confirmed my name and home address on the shipping bag.
Because of that, I drove a total of four hours on Saturday to pick them up, as I live in Pasadena.
However, when I arrived, they said they were not sure where the items had been placed. They did insist that they had my belongings and told me they would ship them to my home instead. They also said they would cover the shipping cost. I agreed, as I had no other option.
They promised that they would ship the package and call me by Sunday. I did not receive any call.
On Monday, I called again. They said they would call me back before 4 PM. I received no call, so I followed up again. I was given the same response and was told they would call me by 6 PM, but again, I received no communication.
On Tuesday, when I called, I was told, “I don’t know. Have a good day,” and they hung up on me.
They keep telling me to wait, but I have never received any follow-up unless I contact them first. Now they are even deliberately ignoring my calls and hanging up.
I understand that it was my mistake to leave my belongings in the vehicle.
However, if they confirmed that they had my lost items, shouldn’t they still have them in their possession?
If they promised to ship the items to me, shouldn’t they follow through with that?
If they said they would call me, shouldn’t they actually call? I shouldn’t need to call more than five times just to get an update.
Is this situation something I am reasonably expected to accept?
I don’t know whether my belongings were lost while in your possession or if there is some other reason for this treatment, but at the very least, shouldn’t I receive a proper explanation and an apology?
I had an excellent experience with the Enterprise Rent-A-Car team in Vista. From the moment I walked in, the staff was very welcoming, professional, and efficient. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and they clearly explained all the rental details, which made everything very easy and stress-free.
The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and ready on time. I really appreciated how the team took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the car and answered all of my questions. Their customer service truly stood out, and it’s clear they care about providing a great experience.
Returning the vehicle was just as easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful until the very end. Overall, this was one of the best rental experiences I’ve had, and I would definitely recommend this location to others. Thank you for the outstanding service!
Good customer service. Didn’t know you have to reserve in advance the ride to pick up but since it was 45 min wait, they said they would reimburse an Uber/ Lyft ride up to 15.00. Also I was going on a long trip and they gave me a hybrid Elantra which I was really happy with. They also took the time to do a walk around with me and check tire gauge etc. more than what other rental car companies would do.

We are loyal customers and always come to Enterprise when we travel. They didn’t have the cars ready to collect and this lady was just yelling at me for their lack of staff. Poor service! Never experienced this kind of customer service in any location.
