I made this appointment several days in advance and blocked off my schedule specifically to be available for this repair. When I called customer service to get an ETA, I was told the technician had already tried calling me twice and therefore would not be coming. After checking my phone, I noticed the calls had gone to my spam folder. Like most people, I receive countless spam calls every day. If the technician had left a voicemail or sent a text message, I would have known the call was important and responded immediately. Neither was done. What made this situation even more upsetting was the response I received. Both the customer service representative and the technician stated, “This is not my company and therefore I’m not losing any money.” That comment was extremely unprofessional and showed a complete lack of concern for the customer’s time, schedule, and inconvenience. I explained that a simple voicemail or text could have prevented this entire issue, but there was no understanding or willingness to work with me. They refused to send a technician out. Taking time off, planning ahead, and rearranging my schedule meant nothing to them. This experience showed poor communication, lack of accountability, and very disappointing customer service. That is why I am giving Safelite a one-star rating.
