For a dealership that wants to sell cars you'd think they would be more professional. This place thinks they're the only Toyota to exist but forget if some people really want a car they will go further out for one, which I did. They kept trying so hard to move me onto a different car, showing me a car that didn't match what I had asked for or was shown, and trying to pressure me into signing when I said I wasn't ready just yet. Horrible attitude all around from everyone I met with here. It could have just been the bad apples from here or maybe everyone here sucks but if you ever have a negative experience here I recommend leaving and taking your money elsewhere. Most people buying will be paying this car off for years and years. Don't give that money to people who won't respect you or your time. That's what I did and now I'm happily driving my new car from Crown Toyota in Ontario.

Jonathan was amazing! He was very kind, considerate, patient, generous and polite! Scott was honest and the right kind of caring! He ensured we purchased with security and safety! It was overall a smooth process and I’m thankful! The professionalism and dedication will be remembered! See you next time! We will be back and still happy to be part of the Toyota family!

I’m in the market for a new Prius. I called on Saturday to see if any were on the lot. I reached Mike, a sales manager, who was very kind and explained there were none available at Valley Hi or surrounding dealerships. He explained there are some coming in and I could reserve one. Mike transferred me to what I assume was a regular salesperson to get my info. I unfortunately didn’t catch his name but he asked me for my name and took down my number and said he would look at incoming inventory and call me back. He never called back. This is a far cry from my experience at Valley Hi in 2013. When I purchased a Prius in 2013 the salesman was amazing, even allowing me to take a brand new Prius home overnight to make sure it met my needs. I guess they no longer want to sell vehicles. There are several other Toyota dealers immediately down the hill I encourage you to check out.

Purchased a used Tesla and traded in Jeep Wrangler at Valley-hi Toyota. Overall, a good experience for us. Scott, Jim, and Nick all contributed to us reaching an agreement on our OTD cost. Unfortunately, Alex, the finance guy was having a very bad, terrible day. And he was hungry! The people ahead of us took more than an hour to complete process. We did not enjoy the wait (and I’m sure Alex didn’t enjoy those difficult buyers) but we had all our docs and approvals together so we could speed through closing, and not be late to work. That didn’t happen. I’m still going 5 stars because the whole team, especially Alex, did their best to speed the process. I’ve taken my 2006 Prius to Valley-hi Toyota service for six years now (shoutout Kathleen) and I’m a big fan of the dealership. Next time you’re at Costco, go across street and check out the inventory. Ask for Scott or Jim to help you, if you like your sales people to be honest and not pushy.

Tips for first time buyers of a car. (35-50k gross year salary) I would say to go with a used car that comes with a warranty. You're going to want to get something about 10-15k total after taxes and financing. Go with your gut feeling if you don't want to take a deal the salesmen's opinions are near worthless as their goal is to influence you to buy the car, they aren't your buddy or friend nor do they have true heart or compassion in guiding you in any financial/mechanical direction. If you qualify you're good to go in their book. I didn't appreciate the salesmen's actions in terms of grace and honesty. Some vehicles here have a third party security system installed (completely unnecessary) I was told it was instead of them just tacking on an up charge for it being a vehicle with electric capabilities (hybrid) that they at least give you something. Ummm yeah no. Having a vehicle needlessly modded with something that results in a subscription to even utilize is not anything it's better off not modifying the vehicle. Remind yourself that you have options and don't for a second feel bad if you walk away from their deal. Get exactly what you need and want. Toyota had/has great apr deals if you get a vehicle during toyotathon, and on the financial side they are very communicative so as long as you buy in your budget with EVERYTHING in mind you won't have an issue here. On the mechanical side, however!, the maintenances were not the best. One maintenance a dude clearly had moved my camber and said I needed an alignment when I specifically didnt drive it in that way ALSO had just had an alignment done a couple months prior also under inflated my tires which resulted in a blowout on the road and nearly crashed the whole vehicle (spun out on the freeway) yes I could have adjusted the air myself BUT that shouldnt have been my responsibility to handle at that point if the vehicle was serviced properly and with safety/care in mind. ONE Toyota dealership was actually very good and helpful out of the ones I went to but I do not believe it was the dealership itself but rather was the person attending to me. I believe this because one time that same dealership tried to hold my vehicle overnight without informing me they didn't have time to get to the vehicle. I had to call and wait for the manager to drive all the way down to access my key in order to grab my vehicle. Idk what the issue really is but definitely only go with this company if the car payment is something you don't even need to budget for or think about. If you're tech savvy and are buying knowing you have to think about car payments/insurance payments , run away from this company fast. Reminder that getting a vehicle requires full coverage so put that into factor. No one is going to help you plan effectively to pursue your mission they need their own paycheck and will not discuss the factors thoroughly with you. I was slightly rushed on my signing as well so remember to take your time and if you're rushed just leave it's better to go with a place that is selling for not only their benefit but for yours as well. That's what creates real community and real winners. I regret every day not saying no and driving over to Chevrolet! Side note. My dad is a very well established car salesman and he BARELY knows anything about the mechanical side of vehicles but he sure knows how to sell one still. That should speak loudly in itself. Have a great day and stay awesome! Critiques for the vehicle in review (2023 Toyota Corolla hybrid sports edition) Not having 4 wheel drive version available There is no reason to not have a 4 wheel drive version available on lot. Not having a version with upgraded stereo system is another one. Very cheap to have on the car when factoring all the upcharges the valley hi company has anyway. The performance of the motor is abyssmal for uphill freeway driving. Nearly embarrassing with it's performance driving up the 15 cajon pass for being a sports edition Not comfortable to sit in for extended periods Pros: Great gas milage! Great exterior!
