- SCSavannah Campbell5 days ago1.0Adding a local review after issues at their Sicily location: Signed for minor cosmetic scratches on the bumper at return. Weeks later, got billed €1,500+ for "dents over 10cm" that were supposedly "detected later" on completely different parts of the car. Classic rental car scam - inflate damage after customer leaves and rack up the bill. They have not responded to my emails disputing theirs claims for months - egregious behavior. Avoid Sixt at all costs. Have used Hertz before in IT with no issues.

Since my English is limited, I especially appreciated that she spoke slowly, calmly and with patience. She made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The whole process was smooth, transparent and stress-free. Thank you for the excellent service.
- DKDanielle KochavyMar 28, 20261.0The lady was very nice, but misleading. I asked to drop off the car on Friday at 6pm. She confirmed and said I'd be charged for an additional day (which was fine). We went back to this location at 6pm Friday and it was closed. We had to drive out of the way to LAX to drop-off the car, we also got charged a one-way fee, even though none of this was communicated to us and we would've come earlier had we known. Very disappointing experience. We also called and were told we wouldn't have to pay the one-way fee, and we were charged it.
