The employee (Patrick B) immediately said I “should not have been able to make the reservation,” then told me the car I reserved was unavailable. I was offered a different vehicle but told I’d have to pay an extra $20+ per day because it was an “upgrade,” even though Sixt could not honor the original reservation. When I calmly explained that I should not be charged more for Sixt’s error and said I would take the car and contact customer service afterward, the employee refused to help me, said the location was closed, and told me to leave—at 4:04pm. I was left without a car during rush hour and was late picking up my two kids from school. I was never rude or disrespectful at any point. Shocking lack of customer service. I would not recommend this location.
