I checked in the rental pick up online a couple of days earlier than the pick up day so we could have a timely departure to make it to our destination during daylight hours. On arrival at 9 am (when they opened), there was a line and no way of directly getting our car despite check in a few days early. This took about 30 mins. We were then rechecked and were informed that the car was not ready and would take 30 more mins to prepare. We requested them to provide a different car but because they were not accommodating. Since we were already late for our trip, we decided to cancel the booking and take our own car (which is a bit small for long trips with the entire family) instead. Overall, a very disappointing experience with no latitude or accommodation by the staff. I do not recommend this Enterprise location.
- XCXingyu ChenDec 28, 20253.0Rented a supposedly AWD 7-Seater SUV for a family trip to Yosemite, and only to found out halfway that it is NOT an all wheel drive vehicle. I asked twice and they promised it was an AWD so I didn't triple check. It was Christmas day and we couldn't find any replacement AWD cars after arriving in Bay Area. It ended up sitting in my gf's parents garage for the next 3 days before we spent extra $$ changing our plans…super disappointed, but turns out it's their system's fault. Either the manufacturer (Mitsubishi) mislabeled or someone at Enterprise who clearly doesn't understand cars labeled a FWD Mitsubishi Outlander SEL to be AWD. The manager lady at the front was kind enough to give me a partial refund, and promised me that she'll report to the company for this mistake in their system. That said, renters be aware and remember to triple check your car if it's an AWD - it's hard to tell from the inside sometimes but look for manufacturers AWD equivalent badge on the outside!
