I had a great car buying experience at Vallejo Hyundai, especially when it came to dealing with Diana. She was amazing with her customer service, she dealt with me in a very professional manner, she did not try to tempt me or rush into making a deal, and even other salesperson at the dealer were same. She also made sure I felt comfortable, she cleared my doubts, and she was just doing her job. All my questions were answered clearly, there was nothing hidden from me, even the deal was done at a fair market value, no unnecessary add ons or fees. I would definitely recommend this dealership in all over Northern California and come back as well for another Hyundai when time comes.
So you are on a road trip, six hundred miles from home. It's a Sunday, the check engine light has come on and your Sonata suddenly is running poorly. Now what! Luckily for me, we were staying in neighboring Napa and my research led me to Vallejo Hyundai.
So on Monday morning, I arrived at Vallejo Hyundai, bright and early, without an appointment. I was greeted by service consultant Jordan Yanni. Jordan greeted me with a warm and friendly demeanor. I explained my situation to him, including the fact that we needed the car within two days to continue on our way.
I piled a lot on Jordan's plate unannounced and in a crunch. He was very understanding of my predicament. He checked my car in and arranged a ride share car for me and I was back at my hotel by 8a.m.
By late Tuesday afternoon the car was repaired and I was on my way soon thereafter.
I cannot commend Jordan enough for his thoroughness, communication, friendliness, and professionalism. And to the entire service team that turned the wrenches to get me back on the road. Strong work!
Being in a broken down vehicle and so far from home is stressful, but Jordan and the team saved the trip.

Cruz Escareno Davila - Beyond Helpful
I can’t imagine anyone doing a better job than Cruz Escareno Davila. Seriously. He is extremely responsive, helpful, and sincere. I can’t say enough good things about him, and I only bought a car from him! He’s a genuinely great person who happens to work at a car dealership—nothing like the pushy, sleasy salespeople I encountered in greater NYC (where I am).
I bought my Ioniq 5 from Vallejo Hyundai online from across the country—probably not my brightest idea. But Cruz picked up the phone when I called to ask about the car listing, and he was with me every step of the way, through the car’s delivery and beyond. I’m now handling a couple of DMV tasks weeks later, and he’s as responsive as ever. It’s crazy.
Here’s a full rundown of how things went:
To start, Vallejo Hyundai’s price was great. A 2025 Ioniq 5 Limited for $15k off MSRP? It was used, sure, but barely, with just 17 miles on it. Amazing value. It seemed too good to be true. I had seen a NYC car dealership with a similarly low price for an SEL online, but the price history showed that the price moved up and down by ~$20k every couple of days. I looked at reviews, which confirmed to me that the dealership enticed people to drive all the way out there, then jerked people around on the price.
Needless to say, I was wary. My first question, honestly, was “Is the price right? Ok, what’s wrong with it?” Cruz humored me and patiently explained that nothing was wrong with it but just that it was lightly used, and they were trying to set a competitive price. Then I asked, “Why does it only have a few photos?” They had just received the car a day or two ago, so their professional photographer hadn’t managed to photograph it yet. Totally fair. Anyone else would have let me wait a day for the pro photos to come in. Not Cruz. He went out of his way to personally take photos and videos that same day. There wasn’t a scratch on the car; it really was just a good price. The professional photos were done in a day or so anyway, but Cruz is just the kind of guy who always goes the extra mile for you.
That level of service continued through each step of filling out information and paperwork. No pressure, perfectly responsive, personable, and beyond helpful. That’s Cruz. I briefly worked with a couple of Cruz’s colleagues during the process, Kyle (I think) and Renae, and both were also very professional. They weren’t pushy whatsoever. Frankly, I wasn’t sure a car dealership existed that treated people so fairly. Suffice to say, I was impressed. (Otherwise, I wouldn’t be taking the time to write all of this.)
Then it came time to ship the car across the country. I had arranged for a car transportation company (Sherpa) to coordinate the shipping. Obviously, someone needs to hand over the car to the shipper and document its condition. Cruz was all over it. He charged the car fully and had it cleaned inside and out. He joined a group chat with the driver and me to coordinate the pickup and made sure he was there to hand over the car. He did everything to make sure it went perfectly. And it did!
I now have the car and couldn’t be happier. It’s a wonderful car. Love all the tech and features. I just want to give credit where credit is due, and man, Cruz deserves all the credit in the world. Could not recommend anyone more highly. If you need a car and are in the Bay Area, or, hell, even across the country like me, give Vallejo Hyundai a call and ask for Cruz. That’s what I’ll be telling my friends and family.
