  Although they likely will not have the car you need, they will pick you up and the team is very friendly. Chance and Dominick helped me get a car and followed up as they said they would to make sure I had something to drive when I needed it. Thanks!

  I had a very unpleasant experience at this Enterprise location. I rent cars in Truckee quite often, and Dominic has helped me many times before, always providing excellent service, helping me choose a good car, and explaining everything in detail. This time, however, things were completely different. My short vacation happened to coincide with a snowfall in Tahoe, and instead of the car I had reserved, I wanted to ask if they had any all-wheel drive vehicles available. They only had midsize SUVs, and there was even an uncomfortable argument at the front desk about whether all-wheel drive sedans exist. But that’s not even the main issue. The employee working that day(I think Chance is his name) quoted me a price much higher than I expected. Even though I asked him to apply a 15% for 3+ days discount, he simply didn’t add it. It felt like he was taking advantage of the snowfall situation to overcharge me. After renting the car, I checked the prices for midsize AWD vehicles online, and they were lower even without any discount. When I went back to show him, he didn’t have much to say and just responded that I could “add taxes” to those prices — even though the price I showed him was already final. That’s how awful my road trip started. If you’re planning to rent a car at this location, I recommend paying close attention to the prices !

  Dominick was EXTReMELY helpful and got me out of a jam. Rented a Nissan in Bay Area and the transmission gave out (Nissan CVTs are apparently notoriously bad) going over donner pass. Limped into Truckee airport. The had no cars to swap (understandable, it’s a tiny branch) but Dominick worked the phones with Reno to help me, and in the midst of everything, there was an unexpected return and Dominick got me on my was AsaP. It was not his bad car he rented or his problem but he was still extremely competent and helpful.
