  I flew out to LA to drive my late father's car back to my home in Arizona, so I submitted an order for a battery 3 days in advance of when I needed to pick it up to make sure it would be ready. I show up to the store after my flight, and the clerk tells me he just now saw the order and will go to prepare it. He comes back and tells me he doesn't have the battery and that he can't refund me and tells me that I have to call a 1-800 number to get my money back. Frustrating, but fine, okay. BUT THEN No matter what question I asked the clerk, like where I could find another battery, if another store had it or if a different one would work.. he would stare at his computer and dryly repeat the same. exact. words. about calling the 1-800 line. It was a little strange. So okay, now I'm out 300 dollars, and have to rent a car to spend the afternoon trying to find another place to buy the parts. I just don't understand, I placed the order THREE DAYS in advance. I work in retail management myself, so I understand a store being busy and falling behind on orders, but not filling a pickup order for three days? Very disappointed in the situation, but even more so with lack of understanding or caring the clerk was willing to give. Like, I understand if you don't like your job. We all gotta do the grind to live and I get that, but bro please don't make it worse for everyone else too. We've all gotta help each other. Unfortunately, this AutoZone costed me valuable time and money and refused to provide me with any options for help or remediation. I would not recommend their services.

  This is a great auto parts store. Their prices are good and the service is fantastic.

  The service here is awful!!!! They literally said they can’t test my dead battery because they don’t have enough employees. Do yourself a favor and just go to the Lomita location where they are actually helpful. Don’t spend your money at this location, Lomita is not that far away. Trust me.
