- MBMichael BalesMar 7, 20261.0I have known Howard for 52 years and we were friends, not anymore. I live in Florida now and about four years ago I went on a road trip to California to visit friends. While I was there, I stopped in and had a new stereo installed in my car. As it turned out, Howard used a subcontractor, per his statement, not one of his regular installers. Halfway back across the country from California to Florida the steering wheel controls for the radio stopped working. I informed Howard of it on the drive and at least 7 more times. Nothing was done to help me solve the problem. Instead just a few days ago after his wife verbally attacked my politics, I finally received a.”I’m Sorry”, too little too late. Why am I posting this review now? At first, I just let it slide due to the years we have known each other, however, once my political views were attacked, I have no reason not to tell my disappointing experience Phantom Electronics.. I thought I knew who Howard was and the work Phantom Electronics did. He uses subcontractors. I assumed he was a man of integrity and authenticity. It’s all empty words. How did the discourse finally show up? Well, they attacked my political views which are center right. I have the saved transcripts for anyone to see for me to prove. After knowing a person for 52 years, you would think you would know them, I was mistaken.
