I was previously a customer of Temecula Auto Glass and Tint when I had my Camaro windows tinted. At the time, they did a great job, and the tint looked excellent for about five years before it began peeling slightly on the edge of the driver’s door window. Because of that positive experience, I felt comfortable bringing my new vehicle, a brand-new Porsche, to them for tint. This has turned into a complete nightmare and the most expensive, frustrating tint job I’ve ever had. The quality of their work is only as good as their installers, and unfortunately, in this case, that standard was not met. My new vehicle was tinted on December 29, 2025. When I picked it up, everything looked good except for air bubbles on the front driver and passenger windows. Temecula Auto Glass and Tint attempted to fix them, but when I got home I noticed melted markings on both B-pillars next to the windows. The bubbles never dissipated, so they removed the tint and reinstalled new film. When I mentioned the B-pillars damage, the manager claimed there was no way Temecula Auto Glass and Tint could have caused it and suggested it had been delivered that way from the dealer. Concerned, I took my new vehicle to Porsche and had four professionals inspect it: a service advisor, a Porsche technician, the GM, and their body painter. They all confirmed the car was not delivered in that condition and agreed the marks were clearly heat damage near the tinted windows. I also consulted two independent tint shops and a custom wrap company. All three agreed the damage was caused by heat or a tool during installation or while trying to repair the air bubbles. Temecula Auto Glass and Tint then offered that if I brought in the replacement parts, they would disassemble my doors and install the B-pillars at no charge. That is clearly not an option for me, they cannot tint my windows properly, let alone be trusted to pull apart my doors. Since then, I’ve had to return to Temecula Auto Glass and Tint four additional times because the new tint continues to peel. On top of that, the B-pillars remain damaged, and repairing them is a major job, Porsche would have to disassemble the doors to access the parts, with an estimated repair cost of $4,200. I’ve tried to resolve this directly with Temecula Auto Glass and Tint, but they have refused to take responsibility. Ironically, two months later, I am back for the last time to have another peeling window retinted. I just want to be done with this - this was a tint job I had already paid for. I even requested a partial refund for the tint, but that doesn’t begin to cover the damage to the B-pillars. At this point, it’s not just about peeling tint. It’s about my new vehicle being damaged during the process and Temecula Auto Glass and Tint refusing to make it right. I’ve been a business owner for over 30 years and understand mistakes can happen. But when they do, as a business, you take accountability and make it right. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Temecula Auto Glass and Tint.
