Quack Quack Car Wash and their machine left straight scratches all over my car. I filed a claim, and they told me they would schedule an appointment, but it’s been a week and no one has followed up with us. At this point it honestly feels like they just don’t care about the damage they caused. So my dad and I went back in person to talk to the manager, and instead of helping us, he argued with us and kept repeating “I understand” over and over. But if he really understood, he would have taken responsibility, followed up on the claim, or at least tried to fix the situation instead of arguing with us and making excuses. He claimed the scratches could have happened somewhere in public, but my dad is disabled and barely drives the car. Most of the time it just stays parked in the garage, so that explanation doesn’t make any sense. This was also our first time going to this specific location, and right after the wash we noticed the straight scratches across the car. The lines are very obvious and consistent, which makes it clear it came from the machine. The manager even suggested it could have been from a brush, but we have a membership and have been using this company since 2018. There was no reason for us to use anything else. What makes this even more frustrating is that scratches like this can lower the value of the car. If we ever try to sell it, buyers will notice the damage, and we may be forced to pay for repainting to make it look right again. Repainting parts of a car can affect the resale value, so this isn’t just a small cosmetic issue it can cost us money in the long run We trusted this company for years, and when something went wrong, they didn’t take responsibility, didn’t follow up on the claim, and instead chose to argue with us. It’s been a full week with no call, no appointment, and no solution. This is extremely disappointing customer service. When a business damages a customer’s car, they should take it seriously, follow up, and make it right. Ignoring the claim, repeating “I understand” without actually helping, and arguing with customers is not acceptable. This place needs to be more responsible and actually care about the people who pay for their service.
