  The staff is indredibly kind and Lloyd's does good work, but if you're on a schedule I wouldn't rely on them. When I booked my appointment for tire installation (5 days in advance) I was clear that I needed to get it done first thing in the morning and asked how long it would take. I was told I should be out of there by 9:30. I called Thursday afternoon to confirm and was told "we commit to 1 hour 30 minutes, we can usually do it in 1 hour 15 though." So, I drove in at 8AM and figured I'd be out by 9:30 no problem. Unfortunately, I didn't end up getting the car back until 10:40 meaning I missed important commitments at work. If your mechanics don't arrive until 8:30 (or closer to 9) don't advertise that you open at 7:30. If you can't actually get the work done in an hour and 30, don't say that you can. If I'd been told it would take longer I would have ridden my bike to work and come back in the afternoon.

  Quick, courteous, great prices...I will be back! My only wish for this establishment is that it was closer to places to wait out the time for service.

  The Factory alignment on my GR Corolla was shredding the inside of my tires much faster than necessary. Had a great experience with Abraham and the team. They were able to tell me what the car was doing, and why, and also adjust the alignment to something a little less aggressive for the amount of driving I do. They also suggested a tire that offers a good balance of wet and dry performance, as well as tread life, at a good price. My car drives straight, smooth, handles well, and rides more quiet now. Appreciate the help of everyone involved. Thanks!

  Overall I had a very positive experience with Lloyds in Scotts Valley. However a significant mistake occurred re: tire replacement which they had to remedy. The design of my car has different sizes between front and rear, both rims and wheels, so they cannot be rotated or replaced in different positions . Apparently, an employee mistakenly put what should have been a rear tire/rim onto the front, unbeknownst to me, until I experienced a sudden blowout a few days later, requiring towing back to the shop. This was a potentially dangerous mistake, but fortunately nothing serious happened. The shop managers, to their credit, promptly accessed the issue, owned up to it, and quickly sent someone out to pick up a new replacement, getting me back on the road later that same day. Inconvenience yes, but more importantly, the staff saw to it that they made things right without hesitation. Now that's what I consider the right way to provide good service and establish positive customer relations. I will continue to do business there and recommend them.
