  I am from out of town and my car’s check engine light came on. I showed up without an appointment and David was very nice and pulled the code from my car computer. It wasn’t as bad as I thought and they even had the part in stock. So I left it to be repaired. And it turned out they didn’t even need to replace the part. Got me back on the road in an hour and for $150. I was very happy. Thank you David and Steven!

  Once I saw Cen-Cals builds on their website I knew this was the place to go with they were able to help me with my build all the way in Florida!!!

  Mechanics kind of scare me because they can so easily take advantage of you. We had a transmission problem in Santa Cruz and I count myself lucky to have found Cen Cal. Steven flushed our transmission and we had him also look at the engine seals and other possible leaks. He hoisted the car and was able to reassure us that the car is fine, but that normal aging is causing minor seepage. I talked to Steven for a bit at the end of the day and learned few things about him. He and his partner used to work at a local dealer in the service department. They focus on honest work and stand behind their repairs. They are looking to build longterm relationships with people rather than high turnover. I feel so lucky to have found them.

  Phenomenal customer service and professionalism! I was looking at a vehicle near this shop from a dealership. I cold-called this place to act as my eyes and make recommendations before I finalized a purchase. Not only did David and Steve work to the car in, they sent me a detailed report and explained everything to me over the phone. Payment through their app was super convenient and easy. I’d definitely recommend this shop!!! A+++++++++++

  I took my car to David at Cen Cal Automotive to diagnose an ongoing problem with my 2010 .. Prior I had been charged By the dealership for service they had not been able to Diagnose properly throughout several visits over a long period.. After leaving my car for a few hrs David called with a quote for repair ,parts and completion time .. David was spot on, Excellent work in a professional and timely manner. I wouldn’t think twice about taking my car Cen Cal as my estimate was clear and fair , but most of all he found the issues ,followed through and was able to replace an ongoing problem that had alluded the past diagnosis more than once ,. I highly recommend Cen Cal automotive a professional company with a keen understanding of their trade, spot on diagnosing , Track down, ordering and install parts best of all completed on the day estimated for pickup with a wash .
