Dave Scholl has been working on cars since back in high school, but it wasn’t until he took a job at a local Gas Station back in 1976 that the joining repair shop Oswald’s noticed his knack for mechanics and the owner took Dave under his wing and started teaching him anything and everything about Volvo’s.

- JIJesse IndaAug 22, 20241.0Just read the last most recent review. Same thing happened with my dad a long time ago, Says there's problems with your car that aren't there at all. He clamped a hose and told him it was something that needed to be fixed. Probably popped the engine light on I can’t remember. But my dad later saw the clamp the he put on the hose and has never gone back there. Just writing this to let other people know, because honesty is everything in business.

His "bedside manner" might be lacking, but if you want a person who has integrity and knows your Volvo inside and out, this is the shop for you. His wife, who manages the store, is one of the kindest, most fun people you will ever meet - certainly making up for Dave's stoic, reserved Norwegian personality! You can trust Dave and his staff to make your ride dependable and safe without breaking the bank.
