if NO stars was an option. 10:00pm on a frickin Tuesday, "Sorry, all I have is a a F150 or a Minivan", "If you come back tomorrow maybe we will have something nicer", "Unless you want to pay for an upgrade". Corporate Executive Elite, as I walk past stall after stall of cars, dozens of cars (the 30 or so that I should have been upgraded to), past the empty spots to the last two cars in the row, the F150 and MY Minivan. I put my shit in the Minivan and walked back to the Kiosk just to verify, "If I come back tomorrow I will get a better car"? I will be going back tomorrow. It's usually the National and Hilton that save the travel day, just not today at the John Wayne Airport. Maybe tomorrow.

Kind of confusing to locate from baggage claim signs are a bit off. But it's one of the National that you still have to check in and they assign you a car....not the worst thing but I like to just walk in a choose my own car
I usually fly into SNA rather than LAX, as SNA is more compact and far less hectic, particularly at TSA. All the representatives I have encountered at this location have been very informative, attentive, and kind. There are numerous upgrade options available when it comes to vehicles, which is a major advantage.
The only drawback is that customers cannot freely choose a vehicle, as this location does not offer an Emerald Aisle like larger airports. However, this is not a significant issue, as the representatives are approachable and willing to work with you to provide the best available option.
Easiest rental experience at the National location at John Wayne. I was in and out very quickly, both during pick up and drop off. Will choose this location again.

Randy, Monica are top notch
Always so nice and friendly
Really appreciate them when I am at the end of my day and turning in vehicle.
Victoria is also very nice.
Compared to the Long Beach Airport location which is completely opposite.
The WORST all around customer service and no one wants to address it despite many complaints.
