  Omar at the counter at SNA was super helpful and knowledgeable. SO GLAD WE CHOSE ALAMO! No hidden fees, great car, easy in, and easy return. The gentleman at BUR return was also very friendly and efficient. Thank you team! We will be renting again.

  I rented a car from Alamo at SNA. The car itself was great, but my experience with the return process was very disappointing. About 45 seconds after dropping off the car, I realized I had forgotten my phone charger in the center console. I immediately went back and told the staff, but the car had already been moved. They referred me to the manager, who said they would check the vehicle. Later I was told they checked the car and my charger was “not there.” I clearly remember leaving it in the center console. I know it was my fault for forgetting it, and I even apologized for that, but it’s frustrating that it suddenly disappeared right after the car was taken. This experience left me feeling like items left behind in returned cars may not be handled very carefully. Just a heads up for anyone renting here—double check your car before you hand it back.

  Prior to my flight to John Wayne Airport, I booked a rental with Alamo through my airline and got a great discounted rate—the best price I could find for what I needed. When I arrived at the airport, the pickup process was fast and easy. I walked up to the booth, and within seconds an agent greeted me, confirmed I was there for a pickup, and brought me to the counter. In five minutes or less, I had my keys and directions to my car. I did pay taxes on the rental, but it was under $40. I originally reserved a compact SUV but was pleasantly upgraded to a more spacious SUV, which was perfect for my trip. Drop-off was just as smooth—within a few minutes I was on my way back to the terminal for my next flight. I will absolutely be booking with Alamo again!

  I am writing to share my positive experience with your services during our recent Spring Break trip to John Wayne Airport. We always have good experiences when renting with Alamo, and booking through Costco has never disappointed us. Our most recent rental was no exception; the process of both receiving and returning the vehicle went smoothly without any hiccups. I especially want to recognize Faisa, who was incredibly helpful and quick during the return process. Thanks to Faisa's efficiency, we were able to make it to our flight check-in on time. Thank you for the consistently excellent service.
