  Just booked my FOURTH (4th) appointment with them, the last 3 have been to FIX their work. All I needed was a replacement for a Ford F-150 windshield, and it's been a nightmare. 1st they replaced it with a generic windshield, but it didn't connect to the Ford computer so I had a constant error message... 2nd they sent another appointment to have someone work on the computer issues... they determined that I would need an official Ford windshield, and I would have to come to a shop for that... 3rd I finally got the replacement windshield, but a few weeks later it rained and water was leaking from the top of the new glass onto the radio and electronics inside the middle of the dashboard... 4th, we can ANOTHER appointment, my 4th... once again to address the work they did on the windshield. Remember, this is a windshield for the Ford F-150... a stock model, nothing fancy... the most popular and common truck in America... you would assume they have experience with these cars. right??!?! All under warranty at this point, but bro I paid $500, and this is messed up. Safelite does ONE THING... you would think they would do that one thing correctly at some point. Wish me luck, but with $500 for a leaky windshield, I can't give them more than one star. This have been a total fail for me.

  Poor communication. Asked about OEM windshield, was told my insurance would not cover ~$500 of the windshield so didn’t agree. Then day before install had communication that I would owe that amount prior to install. At Drop off I confirmed phone numbers, install, and approx pickup time. Dropped night prior. Next day no call to me when done, had to call the national line which made me feel like I was bothering the employee but finally was confirmed that vehicle was ready. When picked up car I was told they texted me, on my land line. Anyone texting on a land line will receive a notice back that text didn’t go through. Wasted nearly my whole day waiting for my car even after dropping it the night before. Communication is horrible and MUST go through the national call center. Horrible horrible horrible. Will never use them again.

  Staff was professional and courteous. Repair was done quickly, so I could get back to the rest of my day.

  Upon replacing a new front windshield… not even a week later, there was a big crack on my windshield and I didn’t notice it until the sunlight overshadows it. I called Safelite in regards to their nationwide lifetime warranty and scheduled an appointment to maybe replace my windshield, but once I got to my appointment they told me they couldn’t repair/replace my windshield unless I pay again for a new windshield. Safelite shouldn’t tell their customers about their warranty because it has no use and also their glass isn’t good quality either.
