  Tow truck company was taking pictures of my car and getting ready to tow it while I was in my car about to leave. I had just purchased a part inside after having a staff member run a test on my car to see what part I needed. I wasn’t even there for 15 minutes. Pretty shady in my opinion as it seemed like he was just picking random cars to tow. Was told auto zone employees report cars. Why did they report my car right after they worked on it?

  This Autozone location will tow your vehicle IF you do not hear a store employee warning or IF they do not identify your vehicle properly. Due to parking issues, a tow truck company comes around every half hour and selects a parked vehicle of someone they suspect is NOT shopping in the Autozone Store. I was in the store and heard something about a Mercedes GL430 and paid no attention. I paid and as I walked to my vehicle, A Mercedes ML55 the tow was taking place. A minute longer and my rare Mercedes ML would have been towed away. I will not shop in this store . Do so at possible peril.
