  I came in for a smog check. Nobody told me it was going to take an hour and a half. While I waited, I watched the standard oil change shop up-sell with filters, windshield wipers, etc. Everyone without exception! Apparently not a single human being has a serviceable filter and windshield wipers. Then finally came my turn. Got a "detailed inspection" with space laser tech measuring my tires, which are recently bought top of the line Michelins. They gave me a replacement quote. WHY??? And since my car drives down a dirt road on a regular basis, naturally the dust will occasionally leave a streak in the windshield. They recommended a wiper replacement. Stupidly, I agreed. Then they said only one was streaking. So after an hour and a half, I was thrilled to be told I can charge out. Except they weren't finished. After more waiting, the tech came in and said the wipers don't fit. Don't you have a database of compatibility? I said put the old ones back and refund the charge and I have to go. It took two of them another five minutes and typing a novel into the computer to get the refund. Now for the irony of this review - I came in for a smog check. It took forever while they kept HARD upselling everyone who came in....wanting your address, email and phone number to do whatever routine service you came in for. Why do you need all that for an oil change??? Macdonald's doesn't need any of that to give you a happy meal! I know why - so they can constantly spam you with texts and emails (and they did like we were besties), probably snail mail coming too. Just like the aggressive and never ending upsell, the requests and pestering for a review finally got me to write one text and email. YOU WANTED IT...YOU GOT IT! You're welcome. Stop being so pushy!!! I will never, ever use this jiffy lube, or any other one. These people just left a bad taste after this experience. Sadly, my old oil change place stopped doing smog and now I will have to find another place. I will gladly pay more for a proper service - instead of waiting forever for a simple thing while being upsold for whatever you don't need and pestering for social media validation - to not go through this again.

  This was a terrible experience. Jiffy suggest fast. My daughter was in there for two hours for an oil change and wiper blades. It cost $240. We will never use Jiffy Lube again.

  We needed a smog check on Sunday to sell our truck. We pulled into the SLO Jiffy Lube as it opened at 9 am. They took the truck into an auto bay, we paid $67 when completed and we were out of there by 9:30 Everyone was extremely friendly, hard working and efficient. Most excellent service and reasonable price, which included the $8.50 DMV fee.

  I had to come in for a Lyft/Uber vehicle inspection. I came at a bad time because it was busy but they got me in as fast as possible. They even rearranged the cars so that I would get my car done next. Meaning they do keep track of who gets here first. Anyways good service friendly staff all around good place

  I brought my fiances car in recently *jiffy lube was the last place to do an oil change for her car* and specifically told the girl with the iPad "i just want the oil changed, i dont want to fix anything here, we have a mechanic." She said "okay " and I was under the assumption thats all thar needed to happen. We dont drive her vehicle much, but to my surprise, her car was leaking fluid from i dont know how many places, and our mechanic i informed the store about informed me. That whoever serviced the car last did a lot of damage to the vehicle and they are what lead up to such a hearty repair. Oil filter loose. And the front differential has now locked up the drive train and there was no fluid in it, because someone *after i said just the oil change* decided to check the fluids anyway, and they must have taken fluid out because it was empty as stated by the families mechanic while he was getting past the stripped plug to check the state of the vehicle. They stated so many untrue things about the vehicle, but due to their negligence, caused the problems they stated to become true nightmares. This shop needs to make this right, or I will dedicate all my free time to make sure compensation is received for poorly untrained people at this shop. I will contact corporate, and whoever i need to to get the ball rolling on getting my fiance a reliable vehicle, which she had before I made the horrible mistake of bringing it to jiffy lube
