Visited this location at about 7:15P yesterday. There was no hello, how can I help you or anything. Good thing I knew what I needed. I could have just stolen the items the way nobody was present in the store. Nobody at the register, nobody on the floor.

That is what true hospitality and great customer service looks like. Today I came into AutoZone to buy some windshield wipers for my car. I was struggling to put them on and thought they might be the wrong size, so I went back inside and told the young man at the front—the one wearing the cool Ed Hardy sweater—that I might need a different pair. Without hesitation, he offered to come outside, take a look, and help me install them. In less than a minute he had the wipers on perfectly. I forgot to ask for his name, but I am extremely grateful. He made it look so easy, and his kindness genuinely made my day.

Wow. Terrible customer service by the young girl who claimed to be a manager on duty. I have to say it that way because that is the only way to describe her politely. She refused to give me her name once she realized i was unhappy with her service. I didn't even say I was going to complain at first. When I walked in, this person was sitting on a box at the front and she very much acted bothered to come help me. I don't know why either. There wasn't anyone in the store other than employees. Once i was at the counter she had a very poor attitude and didn't seem like she even cared to type in basic information on the screen. Its bad when i, the customer, can navigate your screen better than you can. Additionally she just quickly said, "oh we don't have that part". I then told her thank you and that was it. I then looked up the part on their website. Walked over to the counter and grabbed said part and went and paid at self checkout. I then went to ask her her name. She gave ma a name but I couldn't understand her so I said," how do you spell that" she then quickly got very aggressive and defensive. "Why do you need that?" "I'm not giving you my name" "You don't need my name" I then said "Mater of fact, can i speak with your manager?" She claimed she was the manager. I then said" well I'm going to complain and I need your name. I didn't want to have a confrontation with you, I was just going to email" She then started going on how" I was mad that they didn't have my part" to her fellow coworkers. Funny though because had you helped me properly, you would know that you DID have my part i needed. And I bought them. No thanks to you. And I knew you had the part because I looked it up before coming in. I cant believe I am the only one she has treated this way. She needs training. Especially if she is actually a manager. Which I doubt.
