This public EVgo charging station in San Leandro provides fast charging for all major electric vehicles. Located on 1300 Fairmont Dr, it's near Lucky, Joe’s Pho, Redbox. The site offers 24/7 access, is ADA-compliant, and supports both CCS and CHAdeMO connectors. While charging, drivers can visit nearby shops or grab food within walking distance. Customers can use the EVgo app to check charger availability, track sessions, and view Time-of-Use pricing where available. It's a convenient and reliable option for both local drivers and those passing through the area.
PURE TRASH! I was forced to download the app since the other charges were broken(ccs cords were cut and gone) and the only available one would not take a payment without scanning RFID. It required a RFID code after connecting so I downloaded the app only for it to say unable to start charger. I tried 5 times. They don't maintain these items and no one is coming to check the quality. Earlier, I had used the other chargers at Durant Square and was annoyed because this is a rental. Durant Square did not require the app and this is a temporary car, I had to provide my personal info and card number. Don't go to this location since it is not maintained and you will waste your time. Only 1 of the 4 worked and a vehicle was already there charging. I hope I can request my account be deleted. I don't plan of ever renting or owning a electrical vehicle and don't want to risk my information being hack due poor system security. There is no quality control on the charges, so it is likely the app security is not upto par either.

This station can be hit or miss, to be honest. Today was great, other times it hasn't worked well. That said, there's never a line and the station is easy to access. Another plus with this location is that it isn't stashed behind a building like others I've been to so it feels safe.

Station said it had to wait for available power. Making customers wait, while they have other places to go, is not a good business practice.
