They are very thorough and fast on their tire warranties and always let me know what’s going on With my vehicles. I’m a salesman and drive a minimum of 100 miles a day and I never have any problems because of skips oh by the way, they are very courteous and friendly and always seem like they want to do the best for you!
- DGDee GilesDec 16, 20251.0I dropped my car off with whom I thought was a nice front desk rep at 9:00am Sunday. I requested to have my rear brake pads replaced and to also have the oil/filter changed. I called back at 2:00pm to check the status of my vehicle only to be told my car was not ready. I received a call at 4:25pm and was told my car was ready. The same front desk rep stated that the technician “recommends” rear brake pad replacement after changing the oil and doing a vehicle inspection. I kindly reminded her that was the reason I brought my car to their shop. I could not understand how a simple oil change could take over 7 hours. She began fumbling over her words. I never raised my voice. I told her I was very displeased with the service and I was on my way to pick up my vehicle. Upon my arrival I witnessed the same front desk rep run into the back office as if to attempt to avoid contact with me. There were no customers in the front when I arrived. A mechanic had to come from the bay and close out my ticket. I watched 5 people come in behind me. She never came out to help one of them while I was there. So instead of attempting to do any “damage control” the representative decided to run and hide from the issue. This is the second issue I have had with Skip’s Tire and Auto. THERE WILL NOT BE A THIRD!!! I do not recommend Skips for ANY tire and/or auto service!
