Rivian's Service Centers are by appointment only. Rivian is an electric vehicle maker, and our Service Centers are where we provide service and maintenance. You can submit a service issue directly through the Rivian app or call the 24/7 Rivian Service Support Team. Our team of service advisors will set out the optimal repair plan to get you back on the road. The service center has a waiting room with Wi-Fi, water, and snacks. Where are Rivian Service Centers located in the United States?
Rivian is building out a network of Service Centers to support all Rivian owners. Currently, visits to our Service Centers are by appointment only. If you need vehicle service, you can report vehicle issues and request a service appointment in the Rivian app or by calling the Rivian Service Support Team at (855) RIVIAN5.
How does service work?
Rivian provides convenient and comprehensive service coverage. Whether you need maintenance or repairs, we’ve got you covered in all markets where Rivian vehicles are sold.
Service can be scheduled through the Rivian app and directly with our Service Support team. We are building out a network of mobile service vehicles that will come to you when service is needed, and also have service centers when more extensive vehicle service is required.
And for unplanned service needs, our Rivian Service and Roadside Assistance teams are always here to support.
What is the maintenance schedule for R1 vehicles?
Rivian recommends the following maintenance be performed on time for all R1 vehicles.

Maintenance Intervals
Tire Rotation and Multi-Point Inspection: every 7,500 mi (12,000 km)
Brake Fluid Flush: every 3 years
Coolant Change: every 112,500 mi (180,000 km)
Drive Unit Fluid Change (2022-2024 Quad vehicles only): every 112,500 mi (180,000 km)
If driving on salted roads: clean brake calipers every 12 months or 12,000 miles (20,000 km)
Services Information
Tire Rotation
Rotation of all four wheels and tires (rearward cross pattern). Inclusion of full-size spare wheel and tire (if equipped) can be performed at an additional cost but is not recommended. This interval applies to vehicles with matching front and rear tire sizes. For configurations with different front and rear tire sizes, replace both tires on the same axle before the wear indicators appear on either tire.

Multi-Point Inspection
Examines interior and exterior of the vehicle to ensure normal and safe operation and replaces parts if necessary. Covers the following and more:
Tire pressures and tread depth including spare (if equipped)
Brake pad and rotor thickness
Suspension wear and fastener torques including lug nuts
Vehicle windows for chips and cracks
Vehicle functions check
Windshield washer, brake fluid, and coolant level check
Windshield washer jets and wiper blades
Brake Fluid Flush
Replaces the hydraulic brake fluid in the vehicle braking system. Includes bleed procedure on all 4 calipers.
Coolant Change
Drains and refills coolant using a vacuum procedure.
Drive Unit Fluid Change
Drains and refills Model Year 2022-2024 Quad-Motor AWD drive units fluid. This procedure is unnecessary for Dual-Motor AWD configurations and all model year 2025+ vehicles as an integrated filter is monitored by the vehicle.

What services can be done with Mobile Service?
The majority of vehicle service calls can be completed via Mobile Service including any repairs that don’t require a vehicle lift. We prioritize the safety of our technicians and owners by limiting repairs to what’s safe in a Mobile Service environment.
