  The agent, Matthew, was very helpful and had everything ready, since I pre-registered. All I had to do was sign the required paperwork before Matt gave me the key, and off we went. I only wish Sixt had maps of the area available.

  Be very careful renting from them. Take as many pictures as you can before you leave and even then they will charge you hundreds or even thousands of dollars for made up or preexisting damages. Even after lawsuits they still do this.

  EDIT: Please see the canned AI response to this review! Such an insult to our intelligence. What a TERRIBLE company :( every bad review has the same AI response. That's how much they care...none. Absolutely the worst car rental experience. I turned in my car early and they keep sending emails it wasn't turned in, even after I called to file a grievance about the misinformed and improperly handled returned car. I asked to speak with someone with more authority, but still haven't heard back. I got a call after talking to two seperate people and filing 2 separate complaints with several promised "I will definitely take care if this by tonight ma'am. You can trust it's taken care of". Just received another call from a service desk, asking where is the car? Then she says, Oh yes I see the car is here but not registered as returned. WTH? why are you calling me then? What they should do is speak to their employee about not doing their job correctly. It has been a frustrating and difficult experience dealing with this company is an understatement. I see all the negative review response from this thread for the company is some canned response, exactly like the canned customer service responses from their agents. SIXIT IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY. First and LAST time I will use them. Going back to the wonderful people at ENTERPRISE FOR THE BEST SERVICE. ***Note: Sixt has faced numerous customer complaints and legal actions regarding disputed damage charges, including a major class-action settlement in 2025.

  Charged a $2000 fee for small scratches that likely were there before picking up a car. Never renting from Sixt or this location again. I purchased liability insurance and had a credit card insurance but never had issues with any other car rentals trying to nickle and dime for these. Even if this gets fully covered I warn all renters here to take videos and photos of every nick before checking the car out.

The vehicle we were given was in terrible condition—covered in dents, scratches, and paint chips. It was honestly embarrassing to drive. With 38,000 miles on it, it felt far from the quality you’d expect for the price. When I raised concerns and asked for a different car, I was told it would cost an additional $15 per day. That’s unacceptable—charging premium rates (around $200/day) for a poorly maintained vehicle, then asking extra for a comparable replacement. To make matters worse, their website advertises price matching, but when I mentioned this, the agent dismissed it entirely, claiming he had never heard of such a policy. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. Poor customer service, misleading policies, and subpar vehicles. I would strongly recommend renting elsewhere.
