  It was easy to pay and plan online. During the weekend it was very busy as expected and it is very close to the Pier. The parking spaces are narrow and it was difficult to get inside the car later without touching other cars. It would be helpful to have more light inside. It was an overcasted day and it was very dark on the side we parked.

  The garage reeks of urine because Pier 39 doesn't have enough bathrooms. Everyone comes back to their cars and pisses and every possible corner of the garage and the whole thing stinks. They also restriped the spots so they're very narrow nearly all cars have to make a three-point turn to fit evenly into a parking spot. Turns into a total traffic nightmare trying to get in and out of the place

  1st visit to Cali was cool, refreshing, and not all uncommon to the typical experiences in my life, more the same, just different zip code. Weather was great .

  This is the main and most convenient parking lot to access the famous Pier 39. The parking lot is very large and has 5 floors including the top floor being an open air parking lot. It’s extremely busy on weekends and usually takes up to 20 minutes to find a parking spot so always add time to park in your itinerary. You take the ticket at entrance and have to pay before exiting. There are pay stations at almost each floor. You need to take the receipt from the parking machine and show it at the exit so keep it handy. Their parking is steep and priced at $12 per hour.
