  Andy at SFO was extremely helpful during our vehicle turn in. We were traveling with two kids under 3. We had SO much stuff to check in, and he told us there was a place downstairs that checked our bags and would bring them to our airplane. This allowed us to avoid lugging 9 pieces of luggage through the shuttle/train while trying to manage 2 kids.

  My wife and I had a great experience with national. Check-in was easy, there were no hidden fees or additional charges. It was great. Tim took us to our car and gave us a bunch of great insight about where to go and how to be safe. He is a Warm and friendly guy and got us started off on the right foot for our entire visit. Thank you, Tim!

  When I reserved the car, National was much more expensive than Hertz but it was totally worth the extra money. When I landed, the Emerald Aisle lot was a bit empty because too many people picked up before me. But the staff went above and beyond to get a car with the specific features that I wanted. Unfortunately later I realized that the car I got had some problems and I went back to change the car. No question asked and the staff again made sure I got the car I wanted. I’ve been renting with National for a decade now and I was happy with them every single time.

  I had such a wonderful experience with Shannon at National! From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, communicative, and genuinely sweet. She took the time to clearly explain everything, answered all of my questions with patience, and made the entire rental process feel smooth and stress-free. Her warm and professional demeanor truly stood out — you can tell she cares about providing excellent customer service. It’s rare to encounter someone who is both so informational and so personable at the same time! Shannon made my experience with National a great one, and I’m so grateful for her help.   Oh boy- it was an adventure; flight delayed, wife was sick and we had to go straight to the hotel- those who have been to the SFO airport know the grind to go pick up a rental. Luckily there was a location close by the hotel BUT, when asking the customer rep they said they can’t move it as it was booked on points. They further created a false panic by telling us we only have an hour to pick the car up as reservation is for 12 hours. And then when we reached- we had another issue. Long story short- Valrie was a god sent savior who not only accommodated us but made sure we had the best service during our honeymoon. We are grateful to her and National for helping us save time and also be accommodated despite all the chaos.
