This public EVgo charging station in San Francisco provides fast charging for all major electric vehicles. Located on 1150 Ocean Avenue, it's near Whole Foods Market, Whole Foods Bakery. The site offers 24/7 access, is ADA-compliant, and supports both CCS and CHAdeMO connectors. While charging, drivers can visit nearby shops or grab food within walking distance. Customers can use the EVgo app to check charger availability, track sessions, and view Time-of-Use pricing where available. It's a convenient and reliable option for both local drivers and those passing through the area.
All stations broken today, confirmed with EVGo support. This location seems to have spotty reliability.

Groups of 50kW DC Rapid Chargers. Each with 3 connectors: Tesla, CHaDemO, & CCS-Combo. Price: $.30/per Min-which on a 50kW charger, is anywhere between $.41-.70 per kWh (which is what other networks use to calculate price-energy consumed, rather than time spent & therefore usually cheaper). Though they do power 100% of their electricity from Renewable Energy, via buyback programs with sustainable energy farms. Still pretty expensive…but with Electricity already being drastically cheaper than gas, I don’t mind contributing to a green cause if it means I get awesome parking upfront, more space & security around my car. But since 20-30min is more than enough for a DC Rapid charge unless low on battery, I’d prefer a cheaper AC Level 2
option, similar to other EvGo stations.
*Note: As of 2021, about 51% of CA Electricity already comes from Renewable/Emissions-Free Energy.
