  I had a very pleasant experience renting a car from this Enterprise location. I want to especially give some recognition to Colin who helped me out when I checked out and returned my car. He got me in and out of there quickly. He was both easy to interact with and very professional. He didn't try to aggressively upsell me anything like I'd experience at other car rentals. Overall I would rent from this location again!

  Collin, the assistant manager at Enterprise in San Diego location made renting a car easy. He is extremely responsive and personable. He was great at communicating and answered any concerns I had clearly and completely.

  This was, without question, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with a rental car company. We arrived at the Enterprise location in Rancho Bernardo to pick up a truck we had reserved for a snowboarding trip. From the moment we walked in, the woman at the counter was rude, dismissive, and visibly irritated. She immediately told us that all of her for 8am had already picked up, which set the tone before she even looked at our reservation. Once she did, she informed us that she did not have a truck available and instead offered a midsize SUV. We explained that this would not work for our snowboarding trip, we own a midsized suv and need a truck for the gear. She offered no alternative solution, no effort to help, and no attempt to problem-solve. She claimed she called us on Christmas Eve to notify us… we had no missed call and no voicemail. Rather than apologizing or taking responsibility, she remained unapologetic and increasingly hostile. She finally said she would call the Escondido store (very far out of our way) then said they weren’t answering. The situation escalated to the point where she told us we had to leave and that she would not rent us a car at all. When we asked for her name and requested to speak with a manager, she said she was the manager and refused to give her name. This was an embarrassing and shocking representation of Enterprise as a brand. Customer service, accountability, and basic professionalism were completely absent. Thankfully, the Enterprise Santee location saved our vacation and showed us how this company is supposed to operate. I would never return to this Rancho Bernardo location and strongly recommend avoiding it.
