  Location (Mira Mesa, San Diego, California) with friendly and professional staff. Kudos to Charlie for the excellent service provided. I rated 4 stars because there is no after hour key drop off box.

  I had a terrible experience at the Enterprise location on Miramar Rd (6330 Marindustry Dr, San Diego). I had a confirmed sedan reservation for 11:30 AM and even arrived early. The employee told me the car was still being prepared, so I asked if I could step away for about 10 minutes and come back—they said yes. When I returned (in less than 10 minutes), they had GIVEN MY RESERVED CAR TO SOMEONE ELSE. Instead of honoring my reservation, they told me to either take a van (which I never requested) or drive 30 minutes to another location. This completely disrupted my plans and forced me to spend extra time and money, including renting another car just to fix their mistake. To make matters worse, I filed a formal complaint with their customer service team and received NO RESPONSE. The lack of accountability is just as frustrating as the original issue. What’s the point of making a reservation if they don’t hold it—even when you show up early? This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. I expected much better from Enterprise. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

  Charlie and Bri at the Mira Mesa location are the best. They are so helpful and friendly. They definitely went above and beyond for me, and I am grateful for the service I received.

  Charlie and Bri saved the review! Their customer service was so friendly and accommodating. Well done. Enterprise should be so pleased with how well you represent the company. The cars I rented, however, were surprisingly rough. The 2024 Camry I rented drove very nicely but the air freshener smell was so incredibly strong that I got ill on the 15min drive home. While the smell dissipated over the week I still got headaches, so I exchanged the car. The second car I rented, a 2025 Mazda suv, was fine but some of the electronic elements didn’t work. I couldn’t connect my phone with Apple car play or the cord and the volume wouldn’t turn above 4. There were a lot of buttons that just didn’t do a thing. I’ve rented from other rental car companies over the last couple years and I’ve never had a subpar car experience like this before.
