I returned my rental car at 7:26 AM today and realized 4 hours later that I left $1,100 in cash in the glove box. Despite reporting it immediately, the branch claims nothing was found. Because the amount exceeds $950, this is now a Grand Theft case under CA law. I have already filed an official report with the San Diego Police Dept. As a federal employee who values integrity, I find it unacceptable that high-value property disappears during their internal inspection/cleaning process. If you value your belongings, be extremely careful with this location. I am pursuing all legal actions including Small Claims Court.

I reserved a car which was paid for through AAA on line..I was supposed to get a large SUV , instead the Gentleman at the counter Brandon said I reserved a Regular SUV not an " Elite" SUV and he tried to upcharge me for a bigger vehicle, then he tried to get me to purchase the insurance which I already purchased on AAA and he claimed that insurance is not what he was offering. Brandon left a very bad taste in my mouth before I could even start my vacation! I will not be renting by Sixt again!
