I arrived hoping they would fuel the truck for me and was expecting a charge for the fuel which is fair. The worker wanted to charge me $380.00 to fill the truck when the truck was over 1/3 full. When I asked him where could I fill up he told me "you have a phone don't you". Me and my wife are not from San Diego and it's hard enough to get around in a small car let alone a tractor trailer sized vehicle. We never complained about the truck smelling like cigarettes or the storage container leaking water. The trailer was also missing safety pins that we had to go buy with our own money. The worker was very unprofessional and continued to laugh and smirk at everything I said. I am military and will be moving again. I will be using a different truck rental next time and will suggest that my friends do the same. PS it only cost me $130 when I filled it up myself.
