  Nope now they hold $40 using the app 😱 and hold it for 3-5 business days! I actually recorded my call with customer support who said that this info was not posted for the consumer Class action lawsuit here we come! If you have been in this situation in the past week contact me on social media so you can also get in on this

  EVgo claims that all of the chargers are down due to vandalism. No vandalism besides tagging on the back side of the units can be seen. Unless there's some super secret way people can disable an entire charging station without having access to the internals, this seems like a fabrication. The more likely answer is they know the CHAdeMO chargers are being discontinued and are simply waiting to replace those stations with new ones, of which they'll probably be subsidized to do. They did this with a collection of stations in Mira Mesa as well where the day prior, all machines were working, and then the following morning all but one was put in maintenance mode, and then later that day they put that last station in maintenance mode as well and all stations have been down for over a month with the same vandalism excuse.
