  I’d like to recognize Jose in the Mira Mesa location for his outstanding service on February 21st. We came in for a battery check and replacement, and despite there being a long line of customers and his coworkers already busy assisting others, Jose handled everything with impressive speed and professionalism. He was fast, thorough, friendly, and incredibly efficient throughout the entire process. What really stood out was how he seamlessly moved from one customer to another, making sure everyone was acknowledged and helped as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality or courtesy. He also directed customers to the self-checkout when appropriate and assisted them, all while continuing to complete transactions on another computer himself. On top of that, he went the extra mile by cleaning the terminal and battery box, even returning to the store to grab a special terminal brush cleaner to make sure everything was done perfectly. His ability to multitask and keep the line moving smoothly was truly impressive. Even under pressure, Jose remained positive, patient, and focused. He made what could have been a stressful wait feel organized and well-managed. He is truly a great asset to the company, and his hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed. Thank you, Jose, for going above and beyond!

  I went to auto zone on Mira mesa blv for a battery replacement few days ago and I had the pleasure to be help by Jose, I cannot say enough good things about him, jose was very helpful and very professional, autozone should be very proud for having Jose as one of their team member

  Super nice people! My battery was dead accidentally, so I brought my car there, Jose, helped me tested my battery, and found out my battery is actually good. So I don't have to replace it now but maybe later. I truly appreciate the honesty! How nice! Thank you!

  I’ve been going to the AutoZone in Mira Mesa for many years, and the service has always been fine, nothing bad, just nothing that really stood out. That changed when I met Jose Lira. He was super friendly and actually seemed to care about helping me. He took his time helping me select the best battery for my car, walked me through the options in a way that actually made sense, and made sure I felt good about what I was buying. You can tell he really knows his stuff but doesn’t act like a know‑it‑all. Just genuinely helpful. I left feeling taken care of instead of rushed. Big thanks to Jose! People like him are the reason I’ll keep coming back.

  I had the worst experience this morning. I'm a single woman and I have gone may times to get help checking my oil! I've never had a problem!! Today when I went in the man who helped was so unprofessional! He opened my hood gave me a paper funnel to put the oil in. He said you got it from here! Did not ck to see how much oil was needed! Just left me there doing it myself! Never going back to this auto zone again! Not helpful AT ALL!!!!!!! It does not coast money to be kind!!
