He was honest, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I especially appreciated his advice on how often I should service my car instead of recommending unnecessary work. It is hard to find that level of integrity. I highly recommend August European Repair to anyone with a foreign vehicle looking for trustworthy and knowledgeable service.

Had a troublesome engine with a 136K+ miles on it, and it wouldn't pass smog. The options was engine repair (cost in the 5 figures) or just total the car. The car was overall in excellent shape so I decided to maybe just straight up replace the engine instead of pulling it, opening and repairing, then putting it back. Eric helped find a better, later model engine with sub 80K miles. The engine swap work was excellent and the new engine has been running great the last 1.5 year. Been a customer since 2011. Highly recommend August!
