A couple weeks later, I smelled coolant and took my car to the dealership who found that my coolant was grossly over filled. I called the Valvoline to double check if they added coolant to my car. They checked the cameras with the time stamp from my receipt and confirmed that they did add coolant to my car and confirmed that this is usually a service that is paid for. I didn’t pay for this and now I’m out the fees from the dealership to diagnose and do a flush. When I let the Valvoline know, they offered to have me bring my car back and they could empty some, but I already had my car at the dealership and I don’t trust them at this point. This is the second issue I’ve had with them, the first being with my other car. I asked for a refund of my service or help covering the fees from them doing this. So far I’m trying to contact corporate, with no success. At this point we are done with Valvoline.

The Kia dealership found contaminants in the fuel tank directly linked to the service performed here. While Valvoline Claims Corporate has been responsive, the Store Manager at this location is actively fighting the claim, refusing to pay for the spark plugs that were fouled by the very substance they put in my tank. I have been without my vehicle and out of work for weeks because of their mistake. If you drive a new car, do not let them touch your fuel system. They will damage it and then try to dodge the bill. **Management eventually resolved it after I had to fight for it.*
