Upon entering, they are loudly arguing across the store, but i blow it off bc thats just what deginerates do and im there for an oil filler cap, which the female staff member cant figure out what im talking about even after I specify weight and engine, I start trying to explain it further but then I have to go to the bathroom, which I announce and she does not protest... however 3 mins later theres a knock on the door, i answer yes?, theres no reply but i try to hurry bc i think there must be a line forming, but no, its just the mgr angrily stating theres no public bathroom (while female rep who supposedly completed her training is still trying to look up my part no doubt, so technically I'm a customer, no signage stating no public bathroom anyway)... Now in Cali, it's not unusual for businesses to treat their bathrooms like it's gold-plated, but even in Cali I've never had an issue using the bathroom in Auto Zone even before i start ordering parts... but the mgr continues to argue with me all the way back to the counter now mumbling something about that's their area and Covid is real (CDC already admitted its not, but difficult to argue with ignorant arrogant idiots, even when they no longer believe in the 6 ft rule themselves apparently), but my protest is enough to get me thrown out of the store without my part... well trained lovely little establishment!... Go somewhere else

- WCWiley ClarkDec 4, 20251.0To petty to patronize. About 4 years ago 2021 I sprung a minor leak on my Porche Cayenne Turbo amd needed coolant. I decided to go with a referral mechanic located in Modesto. Hard times being what it was found myself living in my vehicle. Well after having one too many coolant issues I followed the mechanic's advice to get rid of a vehicle I used to say my bones would fall out of my body before I'd get rid of that car. Had ar least seven unopened coolant containers I was told I could return to this autozone without a receipt, but found that to be not true after bringing them there. I ended up giving them to that store and decided to cease all future visits and buying from Autozone because of it. 😕 Give me O'Reilly or anything else but Autozone.
