I had a windshield replaced on my Range Rover and was told it was OEM glass. 60 days later, a small pebble cracked the new windshield. When I called my insurance company to make a claim, I questioned the quality of the replacement glass, and they told me that the notes on the previous replacement was an after market windshield was used, due to OEM not available. When I questioned Safelite they denied telling me they installed OEM glass, then stated that my insurance company had denied a request for OEM replacement and then finally proceeded to tell me that it didn't matter, because there was no difference between OEM and aftermarket windshields. Complete deflection, no accountability or willingness to even discuss. From what I have been reading, it appears the only way to get results from them is litigation.
