The car I rented was a gas guzzler. I have a hybrid so that was expensive. The inside of the car was dirty. There was a huge mark on the inside window.

I had to pay out-of-pocket for a rental car for about 9 to 10 weeks due to an accident for about eight weeks. Everything went fine. I would go in every week and I pay for another week about the eighth week. I had to turn the car in because it needed an oil change so I had to get another car well I don’t remember the lady’s name, but she helped me and said she had to rewrite the contract when she rewrote the contract. I told her the card I have on file is the one I want to use which is a debit card. She said she understood and charged me. I walked out that day. With a charge on my card like normal every week for the next three weeks, I went in and extended it by a week and have them charge my card. Apparently they were just putting a hold on my card. They said get the money was being taken out of my account so I couldn’t use it. I budgeted accordingly. I turned the car in after three weeks and walked away assuming I was just gonna get my deposit back a couple days later there’s a charge for three whole weeks all at once on my card and it wiped my bank account out and left me in the negative about $677. Which completely screwed me! When I went to ask why this happened since it didn’t happen the eight other weeks previous they looked at me like I was stupid. They didn’t know what to tell me and told me that they were charging my car like it was a credit card and keeping hold on it, but I don’t understand is if it’s got a hold on it then I don’t have access to that money so why is my account negative Because the money should’ve been on hold and they should’ve charged it at the end and I should’ve been fine because I budgeted it accordingly. Very poor customer service very poor communication negative stars if I could give it!
