- JRJames Rife6 days ago5.0I moved my 44' sailboat up to this marina last year, and I'm happy to share that from the very first phone call, to initial office visits, to being met by the harbor master at my slip the evening I moved in, my experience has been 100% positive. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, inviting, and treated me like a customer, vs the condescending authoritarian disdain I experienced from the harbormaster at my previous marina. The water is DEEP, the slips are wide and sturdy, and the surrounding parks, open spaces, and the SF Bay trail access are wonderful. I've met a number of very pleasant fellow boat owners since moving in as well. Folks stop, and walk up to say hi and introduce themselves here. I've already made new friends! The rules are all based on common sense and mutual respect, which is also a refreshing change from my previous slip further South. The sunsets are beautiful here as well. I am REALLY looking forward to Spring and Summer in Marina Bay Safe Harbor.
