  You reserve a car, they give you a code, and when you arrive, they have nothing. Terrible customer service; while they're providing service, they're eating, and you simply don't matter as a customer.

  My interaction with James at the Enterprise location on Hilltop Mall Rd was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had with any rental company. I arrived at the branch after already dealing with a flat tire on the freeway, a malfunctioning TPMS system, and more than an hour of delays caused by roadside assistance. I expected at least a basic level of empathy or professionalism. Instead, the moment I walked in, I was met with hostility and an attitude that was completely inappropriate given the circumstances. James greeted me with tone and body language that said “What do you want?” rather than “How can I help?” He seemed annoyed that I was even there. When I explained the situation and that roadside assistance had my vehicle, he responded with dismissive comments like “Well you're going to have to wait two to three hours” and “Figure it out,” as if the logistical issues caused by Enterprise were somehow my responsibility. During a stressful travel interruption, the last thing any customer should experience is rudeness, sarcasm, or indifference. Not only did James refuse to take initiative to help me, but he also made the situation significantly harder by refusing to provide clear direction or support. His lack of empathy and unwillingness to assist demonstrated a total disregard for customer wellbeing. To make matters worse, after a long wait, I was finally given a downgraded car that smelled like it had recently been ozoned due to someone smoking inside it. This was after I had already paid for a higher-class vehicle. James’s behavior reflects extremely poor training, poor attitude, and a troubling level of unprofessionalism for someone working directly in customer-facing operations. Enterprise needs to address this immediately. Customers who are already dealing with safety issues and roadside emergencies should not be treated the way I was treated. I hope this feedback results in corrective action. No customer deserves this experience, and it certainly does not represent the level of service I expected from Enterprise.
