  Horrible Experience , Unsafe Service, Claim being will be Filed I went to Valvoline in Reseda on February 24, 2026, and shortly after leaving, my car began jerking, stopping, and suddenly accelerating about 20 minutes into my drive. I drive a sports car, and the issue was so severe that I almost caused an accident because my vehicle would randomly slow down and then take off while I was driving. I had to repeatedly brake just to stay in control of my car. Realizing something was seriously wrong, I contacted Valvoline customer service that Friday. They sent a technician out on Saturday the 28th, who actually came from the Burbank location, and he immediately identified problems caused by the Reseda shop’s service. The technician discovered: • My air filter cap was broken, which caused my car to malfunction and drive dangerously. (He checked the notes no notes were left). • The washer fluid cap was never put back on and is now completely missing. I am now being told I have to wait for video footage review before they will replace my damaged air filter cap and the missing washer fluid cap. Meanwhile, my vehicle was left in an unsafe condition due to their negligence. This situation is extremely serious. I have a child, and this could have easily resulted in a major accident if I hadn’t realized my car was not driving normally. Because of the unsafe service and damage caused to my vehicle, I am filing a claim. This location is severely unsafe, and customers should be aware that basic maintenance was performed so carelessly that it created a dangerous driving situation. Now I have to drive around with a broken air filter and no washer fluid cap, because of Valvoline Reseda Gross negligence. Horrible experience. Negligent service. I absolutely would NOT recommend the Valvoline Reseda location.

  Wow. I was amazed, im not sure why I had a negative feeling about this location before but the customer service i received this time around was amazing. They whole process was so stream lined and simple. I didn't have to get out of my car, a rep came to me and directed me clearly, I felt so comfortable, normally as a women in a all man area, I usually feel a bit uncomfortable and clumsy. like a fish on dry land but this time the expiriance was just so good. They showed me my motor oil line, they did a safety inspection of my car and I was part of it, like left blinker, break lights, lights, high beams, Etc. It was just so fun and comforting to know professional were realy checking my car and I was able to be part of it and see it for my self. They explained every step and went over every charge. 100% top notch service. I normally go to jiffy lube but no more. I went straightaway and told everyone I saw that day how amazing every was and that they should definitely go there.

  They're always fast and always give you a list of things your car needs. I got the oil change with a Groupon voucher. The thing is you don't save as much as you think because the Groupon only covers some of the oil change. You still have to pay extra for two more quarts of oil costing $40 unless you bring your own. I did and they were nice about tapping it off with what I brought. All the guys are super helpful and friendly.

  The service was excellent, top-quality, and very fast. However, I had received a discount offer by email, and since I forgot to show the barcode before checkout, the discount was not applied. When I mentioned it afterward, I was told nothing could be done. Given that the offer was sent directly to me, I was surprised it wasn’t applied automatically. Overall, still a great experience, but this could be improved.
