I was quoted a price of $54.32 every two weeks I have already received a bill for $121.64 and it hasn't even been 2 weeks yet I just got my breathalyzer on November 15th and today is the 20th of November now I can't get a hold of any live person or the representative that I talk to Colleen Street to get this situation taken care of. I wasn't supposed to have to pay anything for 2 weeks and then it was the $54.32 but the first bill for less than 5 days is $67.32 and it's already had another fee of $67.32 added for a total of the $121.64. the computer says I'm already late on the $67.32 I want to know why

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock

How does an interlock device work?

An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. To read more on Intoxalock, you can read our ignition interlock device guide.

What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?

The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
