I can walk there within 10 minutes, and thought I had found the place where I would be able to get any necessary work done. They seemed nice when I showed up. I had to get back to work, and felt comfortable leaving my vehicle with them. I was getting brakes, and knew it would take a while, but it seemed like a perfect choice. I was told it would be ready by 4. That worked into my schedule perfectly. I showed up right around 4 to pick up my vehicle. When I walked in Gwendolyn was cashing another customer out. I was not greeted. I assumed when she was done, I'd be helped, but she promptly walked out of the room. I assumed she was going to get my technician. That was not the case. 4:10 came around, I still had not even been told "hello." No "we'll be right with you," no "let me go check on your vehicle," nothing. It soon became some kind of game, wondering how long it would take. A man and his two sons came in, soon after me, he seemed to get service in a "Jiffy." Gwendolyn came to let him know the status of his vehicle, and still paid me absolutely no attention. Finally, when my vehicle was finished, someone came and told me that she'd cash me out when she was done with the test drive. I know some things take more time, I understand my vehicle had a lot of work done. And it's working great now! But I sat in their office for an hour and 10 minutes, without even so much as a nod that I existed. What kind of customer service is that? Would they let a homeless person just sit there? If so, I can start letting people know that the Jiffy Lube lobby in Ramona is a great place to hang out without people harassing you.
