  My daughter’s experience: August 7th, 2026: It upsets me to change my rating and review from last year but our recent experience with the Mile End branch of Enterprise was extremely disappointing. We returned the car on August 6th at night, and as soon as we put the key back in the drop-off box, we realized we left our magnetic phone holder in the car. Our plan was to call Enterprise as soon as they opened in the next morning and retrieve it before the car would be given to another customer. After waiting a while on the phone I was connected to a representative. I told him that we left the phone holder in the car (after confirming my name and the model of the car themselves) and they said they checked and there was nothing left in the car. I told them I was certain the phone holder was left in the car as we did see it once we dropped off the car keys. I tried explaining what the phone holder looked like to which I received the response “Yeah, I know what it looks like.” I then asked the representative to send me a picture of inside of the car. They asked for my email address and after waiting half an hour, I did not receive an email. We decided to go to the branch after the very dismissive and unproductive conversation I had on the phone, insisting that there was nothing left or found in the car. The representative I spoke to on the phone was in the branch. I once again told him I was 100% sure the phone holder was left in the car and that we were only asking for their assistance locating it. He continued to insist there was nothing left. I also told him I never received his email, to that he responded with “Yeah, the email address was not correct. You said Mima or Nina.” I told him it was interesting that my email address was incorrect because I kept receiving emails from Enterprise throughout my trip regarding our car as well as our rental agreement, so clearly my email was in their file. When we asked who the last person to check the car was, he said it was his manager and very aggressively went to call for him so that he could help us. The manager, the only person who was actually helpful as he was listening to what we were saying, brought 3 phone holders and one of which was ours, this took 15 seconds. The manager also said that he was told by his representative that we were looking for a toll pass and not a phone holder. When we rented a car last year, we showed up in the morning and we were told there were 2 car options, one sedan and one pick-up truck. We were not informed that travelling outside of Montreal should we selected the pick-up truck would cost more prior to us picking this vehicle. We returned the truck the same day, and a couple of days later we were charged more than what was told us. My parents went to the branch, and, most likely the same representative from this year, kept on saying “You should have known travelling out of Montreal with this truck costs more, it’s on the website, etc.”, basically insinuating we were lying. Again, the representative who gave us this car DID NOT inform us accordingly prior, so we did not have any knowledge about this. A gentleman named Patrick helped us last year to resolve this issue. This whole experience made me question my sanity and ruined my morning. The customer service at this branch was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. We have been renting cars from this branch for a few years but rest assured we will not be returning due to the hostility and the lack of cooperation we were presented with. To all customers who are planning to rent a car from this branch, good luck to you all and make sure you do not leave any belongings once you return the car as you will need to spend 2 hours convincing that specific representative to retrieve it.

  We have rented from this Enterprise location on Boulevard St Laurent several times. We get assigned great cars that seem well maintained and meet our needs. The staff are very efficient, helpful, and accommodating. One time we rented, we needed to adjust the size of the SUV we rented and they were happy to work with us to find a great solution.

  Great service super efficient. Took me 5 minutes to pick up the car and 1min to drop it off. Reps were very polite and made the whole experience seemless.

  J’ai eu là la pire expérience de ma vie pour une location d’automobile. On n’est pas venu me chercher là où la voiture devait être livrée, ce qui n’est pas très important, mais j’aurais du me méfier. En effet, on m’a loué une voiture dangereuse avec un pneu dégonflé de beaucoup (20 PSI). Et au retour du véhicule, l’équipe en place, avec nonchalance et un certain mépris, s’est obstinée à me dire que le pneu était gonflé en se basant sur une lecture erronée de leur part de l’indicateur du tableau de bord, une vraie preuve d’incompétence doublée d’un manque de politesse. Il a fallu que je me fâche pour obtenir de simples excuses : j’ai deux enfants et la voiture aurait pu avoir un accident. Méfiez-vous et inspectez minutieusement les véhicules qui sont visiblement très mal entretenus.
