  A horrible company. They book for people when they don’t have cars. I waited for hours to get my car which was not there. I then cancelled and book with another company, 5 minutes later I was in my new car! Never book with them.

  If there were an option to give zero stars, I would have selected it without hesitation. This was by far the worst car rental experience I have ever had, despite having rented cars countless times across the US and Canada. The service at this particular location was completely unacceptable and demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism and customer care. We reserved a specific vehicle more than 12 hours in advance, only to be made to wait for approximately an hour and a half upon arrival because the vehicle we reserved was not available. We were then told that our reservation was being treated as a “last-minute reservation,” which is completely unacceptable given that the booking had been made well in advance. The alternatives offered were equally unacceptable: either take a lower-category vehicle without any adjustment to the price, or continue waiting for more than two hours for a vehicle that, according to the staff, they did not even have available. What made the situation even worse was the way the manager, Niru, handled the matter. Rather than attempting to resolve the issue or offer any reasonable solution, he refused to assist us appropriately. After we had already been waiting for a prolonged period, with young children with us, his response was simply, “You can cancel it if you want.” This is not how customers should be treated, especially when the company has failed to provide a vehicle that was properly reserved in advance. I strongly advise others to think twice before renting from this company at this location. Based on our experience, the lack of organization, accountability, and customer service was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Will NEVER come here again

  Our vehicle had a flat tire and didn't have a spare. The roadside assistance service arranged for the vehicle to be towed, but was completely unable to provide us with a replacement vehicle or any other way to get back to Montreal. We had to take a long-distance bus at our own expense and have received no response from National regarding reimbursement.

  We recently rented from National at Montreal’s Trudeau Airport. National was excellent. I always prefer them because of the pick any car and go feature. HOWEVER, the trip from the new garage at P4 and the domestic terminal is egregious. The shuttle only takes you halfway. We have difficulty walking. On the return, I thought I had arranged a golf cart but that was so disorganized we had to give up waiting and walked. Arrived at airline check in sore and exhausted. I don’t think the car rental people can fix this. Trudeau is a disaster zone.
