  In todays world, I know how important reviews are to a business and I am not one to post reviews without meaningful warrant but just have to post this because of the damage they have done to my daughters car. We have used this place for many years but have had enough of dealing with their mistakes. In the past it has been not tightening bolts, forgetting to put covers back on top of the engine, telling me I need a new air filter when I just changed it my self and other somewhat forgivable mistakes until this just happened. My daughter took her car in for an oil change and after the service it began to run very bad. The engine would sputter and have no power. We checked the oil and it was approximately 170% overfilled. We even took a picture of it for evidence. I checked it again the following day and it was obviously overfilled. I called SpeeDee to explain what was going on. They told me to bring it in and if they did anything wrong, they would take responsibility for it. I drove it to SpeeDee and spoke with one of the techs who was expecting me. My mistake was to not stay with the car. They pulled the car in and then after 5-10 min the owner Reggie I believe pulled me into the bay to show me that the oil was not overfilled. I found that very odd as I just checked it before driving it over. He obviously took oil out when I was not with the car! I was a bit confused at first as I have worked on cars all my life and in a gas station that regularly did oil changes. There is no way that much oil just disappeared after a 10 min drive to this place. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and said ok but questioned the oil level he was now showing me. He insisted they did nothing wrong and that something else was wrong with the car and to bring it back in for a diagnostic testing that we would have to pay for! He told me to quote exactly, "If we did anything wrong, we will pay for the repairs". He said do you want me to take some oil out to take it just below the full mark to see if that helps. I said yes but was still skeptical for sure. He and his manager Neil said hopefully what we did makes it better but if not to bring it back in for testing. I drove it home and it ran horrible. We then took it to Big O tires and as we told them what happened, they confirmed that they have had multiple cars come in from SpeeDee oil change in Pleasanton with the EXACT SAME PROBLEM! Big O gave us an estimate of $500 to clean the fuel injectors , spark plugs etc. We called Reggie the owner at SpeeDee and told him and he refused to take any responsibility! After many arguments and he telling my daughter he was done with this and not to call anymore he agreed to pay $130 for just the fuel injection cleaning. We had that done and it still is running terrible due to the overfilling of the oil and are continuing with repairs needed caused by SpeeDee. They hire young untrained kids and they are always trying to upsell you on filters etc that are not needed and now damaged our car!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

  I went here for the first time. I was tired of an oil change becoming an all day process from other establishments. It was obvious they were busy, but they still got my car done in about an hour. They told me right away how long the wait would be. Everyone there is very friendly and knowledgeable. I found the prices fair and upfront. There are places to wait both inside and outside. And just across the street there are plenty of places to shop, eat, and walk around to while you wait.

  I came to get my car's oil changed during a short break from work. It was a great experience. I've been here before. The staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks to all the staff and Rooly. I was very happy with my car. :)

  I used to take my Lexus SUV strictly to the dealership because I liked getting a loaner car and my service advisor was always honest. But one day, when my usual advisor wasn’t there, I caught them trying to hustle me. I may be a woman who looks like she doesn’t know much about cars but I actually do and can handle minor maintenance myself, I just prefer taking it in for convenience. The last time I went to the dealership, my car started making clunking noises, my oil was still dirty and the brakes felt off—that’s when I knew it was time to stop going there. I’ve been taking my older commuter car to Speedy for years, so I decided to bring my SUV there too. Best decision ever. My SUV runs soooooo much smoother now and my oil change lasts longer because they’re actually replacing the oil and filters properly. My brake fluid looks great, too. Tito (uncle in Tagalog) will even clean your dirty dusty windshields 😆 1000% recommend Speedy for all your service needs! Honest and real speedy services 😉
