  UPDATE 2/28: Manager Jocelyn reached out after I posted my review and helped resolve the issue. She was professional, apologetic, and handled the situation with care. I appreciate her taking the time to make things right. ----------------------------------- I had a very frustrating experience with at their Pasadena location. Based on previous reviews this seems like an ongoing pattern. The ladies at pickup were very nice, as it seemed. I even thought to myself, I'd definitely be back to rent cars from Pasadena since the girls were so friendly. I was told that the vehicle already had existing damage documented. The car was handed over in a dimly lit underground garage, and based on their assurance, I trusted that everything had been properly recorded. I barely used the vehicle during my rental period, didn't even have luggage, and returned it after 1 day. At drop-off, I was unexpectedly shown a minor scuff on the rear bumper. What concerned me was that this area already had multiple visible scuff marks, yet only one specific mark was singled out and attributed to me. I was then asked to sign acknowledging the scuff, which I now understand may have been used to support a damage claim— without clearly explaining the implications at the time. Afterward, I received a claim stating the damage extended “under the primer,” which does not align with what is visible in the photos. The mark appears superficial, and the surrounding area shows general wear consistent with normal use—especially in a high-contact area like the trunk loading edge. When I tried to follow up by phone, I was unable to reach the original location directly and had a poor experience with customer service, which made resolving the issue even more frustrating. Overall, I felt the process lacked transparency and fairness. I would strongly advise anyone renting from this location to thoroughly inspect and document the vehicle (with photos and videos) at pickup— especially if the car is presented in low lighting. Unfortunately, this experience has made me lose trust in the process. If you are a staff member and want me to change this review to a positive one, please contact me to rectify the issue.

  Pre Book over the phone with their customer service or over the phone team. They are scammers. Showed up to get a rental, not realizing they canceled on my way heading there ... these people are terrible. Do not trust customer service. I arrived they told me my car isn't available so they were agreeing to give me a car that was 1600$ month I said NO the original was around 800$ month for the one they canceled once I said NO im not payiny that!? just let me book for 1 day then THEN they found another reason not to help me ... I should have left with a rental but didnt due to their inability to inform update or fall through. It gets tricky and weird it should never been that serious when proof is right there. If you don't have active credit card. good luck.

  Had a seamless experience with Sixt Pasadena. The pickup process was quick and efficient. The staff at this location were highly professional and helpful. Tyler was particularly exceptional, friendly, patient, and thorough in explaining all details. He ensured the entire process was smooth and stress free. The car was very clean and in excellent condition. Drop off was equally easy with no issues. Overall, an outstanding experience. I would highly recommend Sixt Pasadena and will definitely rent from them again.
